Producing a map for a Planning Application

Local Councils may, on occasion, need to produce a Block Plan or a Location Plan as part of a planning application submission. This can be done in Parish Online without having to purchase mapping from other websites.

We've created a knowledge base article which shows you how to create as many planning application maps as you like, for free.

Need some extra help with Parish Online?

Our partner, Graham, is hosting two re-runs of the Parish Online Clinic Session on 14th December 2021 at 5.30pm, and the 17th December at 10am.

We're aware that some users had issues joining the last session Graham held, so this will give those another opportunity to listen in.

This session will cover:

  • Why is Parish Online a help to overworked Clerks?
  • What should you be doing with Parish Online?
  • How to speed up every day tasks
  • Putting data in
  • Getting data out
  • Visualisation - the key to better decision-making
  • Shifting the workload - getting others to do the work
  • So where are the timesavings?

If you'd like Graham to cover any of your questions during the session, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. beforehand.

The University of Surrey Needs Your Help

The University of Surrey's Centre for Environment and Sustainability (CES) has called on local councils to complete a survey on climate and ecological emergencies.

With many local councils declaring climate and ecological emergencies, the survey will assess how they are being monitored and evaluated by different user groups (which may or may not include sustainable development goals).

If you'd like to take part, then please complete the survey.
